Your Responsibilities
Leadership and management
Providing leadership and people management to employees in the team in accordance with Coloplast mission, vision and values – both for WC and BC.
Ensure that assembly line has a competence/skill matrix to define the best way to allocate resources to each project.
Create a training program to level up competencies across the blue collars.
Collaboration and teamwork
Support the project organization by ensuring qualified people (BC) according to project requirements.
Ensuring our internal customers have good service and strive for a good collaboration between PMs, Purchasing and Engineering team.
Execution
Develop and maintain a performance measurement system for technicians to effectively improve efficiency continuously.
Develop and maintain an assembly quality metric, to ensure continuous improvement and “right the first time” mentality.
Ensure that each machine to be assembled has a plan and such plan is monitored and controlled on a daily basis.
Develop and maintain a Reward and Recognition program for technicians to effectively promote high performance culture.
Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of tool shop equipment and machines.
Responsible for defining and controlling the Assembly and Tool Shop budget, which includes but is not limited to: tools and spare parts, maintenance, training, etc.
Ensuring that all test materials are in control and a cleanup of materials is done by the end of each project.
Be responsible for periodical machine safety examination.
A further key responsibility is to liaise with the Engineering team from Hungary and Denmark and internal customers from different countries to ensure the correct technical knowledge & requirements. And the job will also offer you a possibility to travel internationally.
Your qualifications
Solid experience in people management and development of blue collars and white collars.
Technical background as engineer or equivalent experience (M.Sc.)
At least 10 years proved experience in management of technical areas, preferably production sites or machine assembly.
Experience managing tool shops (machining process, CNC, milling, drilling, etc)
Good command of spoken and written English
On the personal level, you need to lead technical-professional teams through talent development and efficiency performance measurement,proven process improvement experience,be capable to think outside the box and challenge status quo.
